No surprises they are getting voted out. That’s how it’s supposed to work. All their eggs are in an unpopular basket and they, the elected representatives of millions, are choosing not to go with what their constituents actually want.

Women in their early 30s want babies ASAP (at least that was my experience on dating apps back before I was married and long before 40.) Older people generally have more mental health issues from all the trauma of life, plus by 30s they’ve been through a bad relationship or two… which makes everything more complicated with baggage.

Younger people have more energy, more libido, are more open to experience, do not have the baggage and trauma… Nobody had any problems when I was dating a woman who was about 50 when I was in my 20s. The sex was great and her libido was wild. She had her shit figured out and was very patient with me and a wonderful partner for the time we spent together… but she was dating 18 year olds before she met me.

There’s obviously the whole looks thing too.

I’m in my 40s, if I got a divorce for some reason there’s no way i’d get back into a serious relationship. I’d want something casual and fun. I would probably be going for someone late 20s/early 30s who didn’t want kids though because I like people who have an idea of who they really are.

I don’t have an answer OP, just as frustrated as you are though with bullshit replies. AFAIK this game was one of the hyped ones for this year with modern graphics tech, but denuvo definitely takes it off my wishlist (I wouldn’t preorder shit like this anyway…)

Who even knows what the real goal is beyond some kind of resource theft / embezzlement / bribes.

Maybe the israelis want generalized instability and a disorganized government and military structure so they have one less threat in the region to their expansion plans.

None of these goals are something that the son of a “supreme leader” is going to go along with. I don’t see this being a positive for anybody though, aside from perhaps the beneficiaries of aforementioned goals.

I’m not gonna lie, Lutris is fucking terrible. Basic QOL things are missing. There’s so many disjointed ways of doing so many things. The same 2-5 things need to be set every time you add an app and it’s basically all manual because they have done nothing to make it better. There’s thousands and switches and options, and the only way to find information about what they do is to hit the web… and then you find out so many of them are probably useless.

There’s built in install scripts for things but trying to figure out any information about them within the program itself is also useless.

Then there’s the shit that just doesn’t work. Other tools like Heroic Games Launcher are the only way to install games from providers like epic. You can spend hours troubleshooting this in Lutris, and maybe even get an epic game to install and run once… but everything is going to be a broken mess on try 2.

Just a disappointing app all around once you really start working with it. It’s a shame it seems to be the default mode wine app manager.

I think they like having multiple layers of confirmation that way if one is regulated away for some reason like ‘privacy’ or ‘technically anyone could be driving’ then they have fallbacks and legal deniability for the data being inherently flawed.

The various news sites out there that want to spread their own version of influence and generate their own revenue take this kind of information and use it to see how you click on things, what drives your engagement, what you will go on to share with others, and how you talk about all of it. It’s all tied together.

Big money interests run basically everything in this world. We are just cattle, we will always be just cattle. I’m in countless databases like all of you, and we’re all fucked by the system we think we might some day to cheat our way above the other rats. The noose is tied tight though… there’s not much room left to struggle. It’s too late to escape it. Palantir and Flock are here to close the loop and they aren’t going anywhere, even if the street cameras are likely to be hidden in the future and more tamper proof rather than obvious to the public. Doesn’t matter if the laws change to ban it or you can convince local government to not get involved with it - it’s way too easy to hide cameras with modern technology. Just give it time and your credit score and auto insurance will incorporate flock data ;)

There isn’t a team tasked with making teams worse. They’re tasked with extracting all possible value out of their product. Part of that value is infromation like where you are, what you’re doing, what you’re talking about, what you search for, what you actually do for your job, who is around you, what they talk about, where they are, what they are doing, what they search for, and what they do for their job and how everyone spends their money.

All of this is incredibly valuable data to governments, businesses and private individuals that want to advertise, suppress dissenting political voices, enhance useful dissenting political voices, and otherwise manipulate global influence.

They just don’t want you to think about declining any permissions, triggering regulatory action, or switching to another platform.

It’s because this administration wants to use AI/ML to create a list of domestic strike targets based on people who have said things dumpy doesn’t like.

That’s not really parental supervision though. Knowing what kind of content that exists and that a child can interact with should be one of the most important considerations when allowing kids to access something. Not just the amount of time in a period they are allowed to do so.

I can’t imagine how “parental supervision” could exist without understanding how to use what they are supervising.

Shareholders need to be held accountable for the unethical, immoral and illegal activities of their owned businesses. Until there is a financial incentive for business to be run ethically, morally and legally for the shareholders, nothing will ever change. It is perhaps the biggest problem with capitalism today.

I wish there was a solution for this, but it sounds like the only way to fix the problem is regulation.
