no. because I have seen opposing opinions although depending on the community the slatns tend to be different. These tend to be severe so maybe I would like to see more nuanced or less extreme views but I do see these. Relative to the other parts of the internet this area is pretty decent to me.
I would check libraries. They have to get rid of books all the time as they get old or run out of room for things that are more wanted currently. When book from a popular series comes out or if it becomes popular they get a bunch of copies. Like sometimes as many as a dozen (back in the day at least when physical books were the main thing) but then once most of their patrons have read it and its not as big in demand they drop down to half a dozen. Later still when new crazes have surpassed it maybe 3 and when everyones forgotten about it 1 or worse 0. Of course they will always retain the ones in best condition.
I used to rarely if ever up or down vote. Basically it has to be extrememly bad or extrememly good. I use the don’t show me things in my feed I have viewed or interacted with so I upvote everything so that it does not show up when I refresh. one reason I don’t like public up and down voting is because no one uses the same standard so its all a jumble of jumbles.

its the next abstraction of search. A search does not answer a question correctly necessarily. Its pretty much not going to stop the same as having people not search online and instead go through newspapers and encylopedias and refernce texts. Energy wise if they are entertaining themselved and not generating images and just screwing around with text then its preferable to streaming vidoe if replacing it.
