Point being look at the rational and objective responses here. For years there has been the industry of sex and some people make money some are taken advantage of. Have you ever watched free porn? Someone and their body were likely taken advantage of that and you benefitted. If the answer is yes then you have pretty much invalidated your own question.

Who would have thought that all these shiny toys would be so reachable. The rich have parroted this shit and acted untouchable. Its nice to see their infrastructure getting a smack. It like boasting about a fancy watch then walking down the street and getting robbed by a junkie. Tale as old as time.

The innocents in all these countries, and the environments are the ones that suffer the consequence, but what will get noticed is that war hurts production and consumer behavior. Oil scarcity stops people going places, stops stuff hitting the shelves, even the simple mortals like us knew this but the warmongers at the top want to play.

The second problem is just how much has moved online for example processing documents (your passport etc) same as when you have issues there’s no number to ring the store.

So it’s not like we are totally able to. We need to turn it back to how it was. They said use the internet because it made life efficient. We need to take that back.

Same. It was chill then suddenly about the last few weeks there is a lot of animosity on average posts.

There’s suddenly a lot more extreme views. Almost like ganging up to make people shrink or censor.

And finally a spike of relationship drama posts. They feel fake and fishy. Maybe bots.

Managers using influence to inflate their importance is common. It sounds like they are hoping to head off innovation to protect themselves.

The second aspect is their harnessing of useful idiots. I think critical or practicing objective thinking is being pushed aside at the time when needed most. You probs have to tread carefully and maybe influence people to use their own minds not that of desperate managers. Alternatively set the useful idiots off in competition and watch the fireworks. Not helpful but it is fun.

There always some people are always looking for an easy fix, a way to rise quick, to be a yesman. But for the most they just wanna do a good job. Maybe appeal to the rationally of those people. Trust your brain and skill rather than cult practises.

I’d argue elders have shifted to fedi as it’s basicness and open structure feels like the old internet. No gimics, no monotisation etc.

And generally is a pretty easy going place.

However the more you use it the more you see factions and intolerance.

I have never trusted them, I stupidly fell into the might be ok as someone will step up and regulate but I’ve been making steps to stop and protect more of my privacy.

That’s a good point. What is the line? I think for me it is two things.

The voicing. Saying to others I do not trust them - usually followed by discourse and reasoning/grassroots activism

Taking steps to protects yourself/or obscure - for example starting to use cash or taking steps to avoid being surveilled.
