You’re right that all evil ideologies, from colonialism to religious persecution, share underlying normative features. I was merely commenting on the fact that this particular act of colonialism is, in fact, religious, since the chief justification offered by these genocidal maniacs is religious.
I also want to reiterate that fascism and all religious activity is literally cultism, all rooted in various collective fantasies. We can certainly pull these things apart by getting technical (of course). Kinda beside the point.

Its genocidal ideology is rooted in religious fanaticism.
Incidentally, all fascism works just like religion, except by sanctifying the state with iconography and dogmas of demagoguery and rebirth.
Fascism is a kind of religion, and the organized variety of the latter softens up the population for the former.

Religion is a monstrous evil.

Billionaire taxes are the compromise. I wanted blood.

I love animals. That is what we are. However, the transcendental values that separate people from the other animals are not universally instantiated. Some humans are cruel. They do not care about what is true or moral. They are not subhuman. In many ways, they’re only human, their potential personhood vitiated by a lack moral and intellectual agency.

To be clear, anyone who endorses this view is not a person. At best, they’re a human animal, and at worst they’re rabid.

Average reactions to Beto were closer to mine. He lost fairly badly. Like I said, his anti-gun stance was too strong. Analogously, veganism is morally superior to carnivory, but a vegan isn’t going to win Texas.
The world is on fire. Human civilization is ending. I could not care less about culture war crap.

50% of the country is fake Christians. Talarico knows how to talk to them. The guy is in actuality what the GOP pretends to be. He could single-handedly upset the entire status quo with enough airtime. Every time I hear him speak I’m impressed.

Beto was never viable (anti-guns, doesn’t know how to talk about religion). I also found him repulsively fake.
Talarico is an authentic, sincere left wing Christian. He’s a threat to the entire Republican order. If he says he’s not progressive it’s to distance himself from pronoun weirdos.

He’s Bernie Sanders for Christians. Which is why both parties want him to lose.

I love Crocket but there’s a reason CBS blocked Talarico’s interview from airing. The guy represents the only actual threat the Texas GOP has faced in 3 decades. He knows how to talk to Christians. I’ve personally never seen anything like it in all my years.

No, let’s pick the most polarizing figure we can find and try to win Texas that way.

Talarico is the furthest thing from a coward. Every clip of him is awesome. I wouldn’t be surprised if the GOP are voting against him in the primary because he can actually talk to Texans.

That’s what happens when the rejection of basic moral and empirical facts becomes a political platform. Everything becomes political.
Like this: “my political platform is that 1+1=3” Now every scientific claim is political.

Are you implying male athletes lack moral fiber? That many of them have coasted through life, playing games for a living, getting unmeritorious free college educations, and becoming celebrities at a young age?
