you might be interested in tubular or freetube. they are youtube clients for android and pc respectively, that don’t show ads and have sponsor block (a system to automatically skip sponsor segments) build in.
both lack features that youtube has and tubular does not even support youtube accounts, so no commenting, and subscriptions and views are handled locally, BUT they let u watch youtube without ads (or account (yes, its also an upside!))
on that note, whenever i move away from a corpo social media platform or its propriatary clients, its jarring at first, because i lose so many features, but with time i come to realise that i am better off without and would not want to go back
and then asking the community to “solve the best way to kill Voldemort” like you think they’re literally all too stupid to see what you’re doing and it works because they are that stupid.
