Our asshole government started this fucking war and is fully responsible for the consequences. Other countries should embargo us until we agree to pay reparations to cover the economic damage caused by the war. Or better yet - seize any assets of American oligarchs to cover damages.
It sounds like I’m ignoring the human cost of the war, and that’s because the human cost isn’t a concern for those behind Trump. The billionaire class running this country doesn’t care about how many innocent people suffer, so they need to be attacked economically.

Lots of employees did keep the stipends as a pay bonus, but then it was on them if they used their personal phones for work and they got caught up in Open Records.
I think the better solution would have been to use a different form of 2FA, but I do like having a separate work phone anyway. It makes it easier me turn it off and not get distracted by work shit when I’m off the clock, and also lets me change my number when I change cities without having my personal contacts lose my number.
Fun fact: I work in municipal government and they started making us use 2-factor that sent messages to our cell phones. That came back to bite us when we got an Open Records request that included a request for text messages between staff containing specific keywords. Employees who didn’t have a city-issued phone and hadn’t been using their personal phones for work got pretty upset when I had to take their phones and search their text histories.
And that’s how every remaining employee down to the guys running the lawnmowers in the parks department got a monthly phone stipend.
Between this and Dex, there’s little reason left for me to keep using Samsung.

Coworker of mine had sniper’s set up on his front porch and screw tripods into his railing to hold the rifles when the neighbor’s kid had a mental health crisis and threatened suicide.

The only people I can forgive for becoming billionaires are people who inherit or win a big lottery prize.
But in both cases, if they remain billionaires, they’re immoral and have no place in society.
The rockets exploding is differen than the rest. It’s literally rocket science and blowing up a bunch of test vehicles is kinda par for the course, and SpaceX has actually been pretty sucessful overall.
But that has zero to do with Musk.
A terror attack will drum up more support for the war and give them.an excuse to declare emergencies to further trample civil rights.
It’s the best thing that could happen for this administration.
My even-more-pedantic take is that poisonous is correct, but imprecise. There’s lots of ways to be poisoned. Ingestion, inhalation, dermal contact, and, yes, injection. But it’s all poison.
A poison is a harmful substance. A toxin is a poison created by a living organism. A Venom is a toxin that’s delivered subcutaneously.
Poison is the parrallelogram to venom’s square.
Not to be too nitpicky, but the Iraq war started in 2003. 2001 was about California wildfires, the fallout from the dotcom bubble, then 9/11 and Enron.
Both of those men stole elections to get into office.
