

This is something I never understood with the idea that having a few different firearms makes it somehow concerning. Firearms can be very specialized tools and you might need a few different ones if you practice different kinds of hunting, target shooting or work around a farm. If someone decides to turn into a crazed killer they will only be able to effectively use one at a time so having 20 more doesn’t change anything unless they’re muzzleloaders that take minutes to reload like muskets
That being said, if someone has a huge collection to a point that it makes it a particularly attractive target for theft and consequent misuse by the wrong people, some standards of security for their storage should be set.
