The Frankie Edgar and Tony Ferguson come to mind. The Edgar one is the perfect example of why I HATE when fighters bring their family with young kids to watch live.

What’s the max draft age tho?
That’s pretty much the exact take I have aside from the “my city” part lmfao. Izzy could get caught and if he does I think he goes out. If not, he’ll pick Pyfer apart on the outside and win by UD.

I lived in an active area, am very tall, genuinely kind, work a weird schedule that incorporates lots of time off and I’m pretty charismatic. Luck was also heavily on my side.

The rare 10-30 seconds when something first goes wrong. The mix of surprise, concern and instant mental troubleshooting. I’m an engineer in a big power plant on the operations side. My job 99% of the time is to take numbers and do some wrenching/maintenance when needed. 1% of the time I earn my money by running at the scary shit and figuring it out.
I see you’re paid off by Big Chip
Get em
I don’t necessarily disagree but its the highest level talent pool that exists for the sport. Fairly compensated is really tough to nail down. I think fighters should be salaried with health insurance and earn bonuses. But a massive variance in pay would and should still exist based on a few factors like popularity, record, out of org experience etcetera. I don’t know of any combat sports organizations that do that though. Every discipline of combat sports has shady pay structures.
Thank you sweetheart
You think Pyfer will be able to KO Izzy this weekend?
Close enough ?

So it’s not out of touch to recognize some people can’t afford to meet their basic needs.
Interesting way to not adress anything i said
How do the losses compare to the profits? How do the profits compare to charitable donations? How do the profits compare to taxation? How do the profits compare to average employee wage? You recognize the side you’re taking, right? You’re trying to adhere to a moral line when dealing with a blatently immoral entity.
