I don’t think it’s heresy, but I do think there’s value in devs shipping native Linux builds. It’s a Mindshare thing. If devs never target Linux they won’t build with Linux in mind.
But as a user, it’s fine to use whichever version gives the best performance.

I think you still need to worry about multilib configs if the game you’re trying to play is Linux native. But I guess those games usually have a Windows version anyways and you could just use Wine/Proton for that.

The issue with this is that most people will be ok, or at least alive but injured.
It actually had the opposite effect. Most people won’t die, so then they get confirmation bias and will then start spreading the misinformation themselves saying “I didn’t take the medicine and I’m fine!” Or even use their kids as proof for other parents.
It’s a snowball effect.

That’s how many people see it, but I know a few people that are entirely disconnected from “celeb culture” and the news in general, and just think the cybertruck is neat technology. And to be fair, putting aside the massive safety issues with it, it does have noteworthy technology that on their own are interesting.
And I think the cross section of people who are interested in the cybertruck, people who are not particularly intelligent, and who also have money are generally going to be the customer base. It’s fine to criticize, but to say “no sympathy” when they die is gross.
