Thanks. Other people say 6700XT is possible and it’s a good card and will pair nicely with your PC. I’m not in the US so can’t comment on price but even a RX6600XT/6650XT 8GB is great for 1080p as an alternative.

6700XT is a good card but what are the rest of your specs?
I don’t have any recommendations buy will say that my watch is one thing that I’ve changed over the last 2 years to be “just” a watch. I used to have a Huawei and Samsung and use it for tracking everything but I decided to get a Citizen Eco-Drive and haven’t looked back since.

Death Stranding with horses is what came to mind for me too so I’m very interested in this one.

Holding on to stuff longer isn’t necessarily a bad thing as the pc market was in a very wasteful state before all this. Still sucks though they way things have become :(

Yes but it’s likely going to be a 5600g and no dedicated GPU at that price point.
edit: 5600g + cooler, Asus a520, 16gb 3200 ddr4, 1tb m.2, 500w psu and case for £400 over here which isn’t far off the target. Entry level at best but it’s all upgradable which is the point.
Shits gonna suck when even this option dissapears :(
I would start by adding a couple more indexers but don’t go overboard. 3 or 4 should be good and then swap them out as needed. Also something to note is make sure you aren’t just “hit n run” on everything and seed properly.

I read most of the article and I’m inclined to agree with what they say. The title does read as clickbait though but it’s just their statement so please read it for yourselves.

That’s a fair point. I feel that PC gaming was in a peak of consumerism with ridiculous prices and never ending “upgrades” so it’ll be interesting to see if anything changes. I hope it does and some of that knowledge/skill and enthusiasm for optimisation comes back.
This has been my default for a couple years now. Qwant search is ok at best but I mainly use it because I wanted an EU alternative with some privacy. As for Vivaldi I think its great, and especially with an OISD list with the built in blocker.

Those “online pass” days were grim. Xbox Live gold sub and I need an online pass to play BF3!
You could keep the chain going and pass it down to somebody else?
