My smart tube app wasn’t working tonight so watched YouTube on the normal app. I can’t believe people live like this, it’s actually unwatchable.

I went from windows to mint to debian … did I fuck up?

So interesting to me that it’s the lower end phones that have the features I want
Ive not been using Linux for long, maybe only 5 years or so. But I’ve never had any audio issues.
My audio needs are not as straightforward as the average user. I play drums over midi into reaper. I have used guitars and mics through my audio interface. My midi controllers work without any issues.
Im using pipewire and running reaper with pipewire-jack. I’ve used mint for years with no issues, and now running debian Trixie with no issues.
I think they mean lithium ion batteries are far worse for the environment compared to a headphone cable you could easily replace

Name a single country with no power outages

If they weren’t guzzling the worlds water supply, and using the electricity of a small nation, and didn’t steal small creators works, and weren’t hijacking the worlds supply of RAM, and wasn’t causing a bubble that will wreak havoc on the global economy, and it wasn’t causing people to go into psychosis by encouraging delusional thoughts, than i probably wouldn’t be against it.
Other than those issues it seems fine, but until those are addressed, I’m pretty anti-ai

Trick question. The answer is none of them

Personally the more popular an artist or band is, the less likely I’ll enjoy their music.
This is broadly speaking and not universal, there are big exceptions like radiohead, massive attack, aphex twin, BICEP and tool, but for the most part, if something is in the charts, I’m probably going to hate it
Being the favourite uncle is honestly the best. Love seeing them, love giving them back.
I can give it my all for about 6 hours at a time. I could not do it 24/7

Totally agree. Perfect is the enemy of good. If people would just drop meta, and Microsoft. That would go a long way and would be pretty easily achievable for most people.
Alphabet would be huge but because most phones run android (including my own), that’s a big ask, too big without a good viable alternative ATM

“XYZ company already has all my data so I don’t care that they’re spying on me and selling my data to advertisers”
Fucking makes my blood boil. These people have absolutely zero critical thinking skills, or self respect
I started my Linux journey about 5 years ago on mint with the cinnamon DE. It’s not the fanciest but it got the job done, no real complaints.
Recently I made the change to debian without too much thought on the DE and I was presented with gnome. Took me about 5 minutes before I was looking up alternatives.
Now on KDE plasma, and out of the 3 I’ve tried it’s definitely my favourite.

Speakers are made of wood, the good ones are at least.
Unless your referring to the actual drivers, then yeah wood wouldn’t really work in that case.
It’s great. I’m pretty sure you can sign in so you get your algorithm and subscriptions. But it’s an incredible app. Infinitely better than the normal YouTube app.
