Hahahahahahahaha…bullshit and you know it. Life or death cancer financially fucked me and my family. That was over a decade ago. Now I’m permanently disabled and paying cash for meds. I just did my taxes today. I made $13000 last year. My family medications alone for the year was over half of that.

It’s all fluff CMA. Fucking fluff. People get fucked every day by the “free” Healthcare scam.

No patient care should be affected by their ability to pay

That’s literally the underlying concept behind the Canadia medical system.

The problem has been successive governments chipping away at the ability to live up to those noble ideals.

Successive provincial governments chipping away …

It’s the provinces that direct how healthcare transfer payments are spent. And don’t forget that Trudeau gave every one of them extra BILLIONS even tho none of them would sign a deal promising that money would be spent on healthcare alone.

Conservatives and the governments they elect.

Let’s put the blame where it’s due. People who are dumb enough to think voting blue is fiscally responsible.

tons of cutbacks happen under liberal governments… the least they could do is restoring funding…

we keep voting the same 2 parties in over and over expecting different results

Imo we need to get rid of fptp for anything else.

And I guess I was more focused on ontario where the cons have been open about wanting to privatize healthcare

The Manitoba cons were getting in on that game too before we voted them into oblivion and elected an NDP government.
