What’s reckless about trying to hit a legitimate military target?

How about you come out and say how reckless it is for the US and Israel to start an unprovoked war against Iran?

Typical. Britain (where I live) taking the view that our support and facilitation of the illegal invasion and attacks have nothing to do with us. Well done Starmer and Cooper. Leading us into disgraceful conflict like our shit doesn’t smell

“The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. At Rotterdam, London, Warsaw, and half a hundred other places, they put their rather naive theory into operation. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.”

-British Air Marshall Arthur Harris, on why fascists get offended that you hit them back

I think between this quote and Sartre’s comment on antisemites you can understand everything you need to know about why fascists and their sycophants act the way they do.

They are, in short, stupid little lying bullies that don’t have any sense of ethics beyond the vague idea that they are the only ones who have or deserve agency in the world.

Yeah, they don’t even stand by arguably their only consistent value, which is might makes right.

Might makes right until you hit us back, and then you’re in the wrong.
