This was such a kickass movie to see in an IMAX theatre. Exactly the kind of fights I imagined with my Godzilla toys as a kid.
I know that it doesn’t have the best critical reception, but King of the Monsters is one of my favourite Godzilla movies just for nailing the spectacle alone.
Ikr? I feel like all the silly monsterverse movies are made for my niche desires alone and have no idea how the movies keep getting made. I genuinely think some fanboy billionaire is singlehandedly keeping the monsterverse alive.
The new Monsterverse slaps. Like, the deeper into it they went, the more and more they got to just go completely nuts with the lore and the big monster fights.
