The EWG promoted vaccine/autism links at one point. I’m not suggesting that it’s worthless, but it’s not infallible.
This CNN article pretty much says that maybe if we love them enough, the president and the HHS secretary will save us from the machinations of the evil food empire, not by getting the FDA to function, but by “sweeping reform.”
We find ourselves in quite a pickle:
We know we can’t really trust big business, meaning the food conglomerates, to put safety over profit
We know we can’t trust the regime to do anything for the straightforward benefit of the public
Can we trust CNN anymore? This article is trying to close the loop, joining leftist “but but but the CHEMICALS” food criticism with right-wing “Our youth should eat more bull testicles” food criticism
Can we trust EWG? To what extent is science really directing them, to what extent is it fashion?
I mean, I half agree with the reporting. I have an unusual allergy. It does not show up on the list of allergens that they list because like, I’ve met three people my entire life who share my allergy and I’ve met a lot of people. It sometimes shows up in bouillon and some places include bouillon as an ingredient. And then just list “spices”. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck I hate that, I don’t want to get sick just because you are ashamed you don’t make your own broth. So yeah, even if I don’t agree with their arguments, I agree with their conclusion that even the tiniest ingredient needs to be listed.
“The only way to be sure your bull testicles are free-range organic whole food goodness is to raise the bulls yourself, which is why we’re procuring 1,000 male calves for 4H clubs around the nation” – RFK jr., probably

The truth becomes more expensive every day.

Re: the bull testicles, do they come pre-seperated from the bull or do I need to really upgrade my medical and dental insurance first?
