Who’s stumbling over each other? Last I checked most European countries aren’t exactly enthousiastic about this war the US and Israel started. Iran has been attacking military bases fairly indiscriminately, European countries responding to attacks on their bases is hardly the gung-ho mentality you’re describing.

The posts on Lemmy are like two mirrors deep, the original source is a Reddit sub and its sidebar rules allow users to make things up and spread misinformation and propaganda when it aligns with the community’s beliefs and bias, and covers it with a disclaimer: "Conspiracy theories, COVID, wars, etc. These are sensitive topics that are prone to propaganda and misinformation.

I have a theory that it’s Israel attacking Europe’s bases to draw you in. I mean 85% of Americans do not support this war but our politicians are owned by Israel and the Epstein blackmail same situation in Europe no?
They werent enthusiastic about starting it, but they are clearly very motivated to take part in it now if you read todays headlines.

Its not a unified position by all means, but there are voices in every european government that get hard just from thinking about starting another big war in the middle east.
Apart from the incessant use of “International Law” without willing to back it up with any sort of hard power, nothing worth noting has been coming from Europe. Kill surprise.
